We’re pleased to announce that we now offer domain registration, transfer, and management services.
As you problably know, there are two parts to having your website functional online: domain registration and web hosting. Domain registration is the process you use to register your unique domain name (IamSpecial.com). Once registered, only you can and use have that name. You must renew your domain registration annually to keep the name you’ve chosen. Web hosting is the service which allows your website to have a home and be visible online. You have to inform your domain registrar if your web hosting provider changes so that it can “point” visitors to your correct online address.
We’d like to invite you to transfer your domain registration to Ambient Glow. Why?
- We offer competitive prices — our registration fees may be much less than what you are currently paying
- As a current web hosting customer, you will have all your services in one place, making them easier to access and manage
- Your unexpired time on your current registration will be carried over, so you lose nothing

You know that you can check your website statistics by visiting your Webalizer page in Control Panel, but what does all that stuff mean? (In case you lost the link, just go to https://your domain name:2222/CMD_WEBALIZER/your domain name/index.html . You may get a message box asking you to accept the site certificate, after which you will need to login with your username and password for your hosting account)
At the first Webalizer screen, you will see a chart and a list of months in a table below. Click on the month you want to view. Webalizer statistics are very detailed and will provide a great deal of information about site traffic, most requested URLs, exit points, location of visitors, and much more. Here’s an explanation of what some of the terms in your table mean.

If you’re not quite ready to commit to an online store, or you’d like an adjunct to your existing shop, then Froogle, Google’s free sales search engine, might be just the ticket for you. It costs nothing to add products or services to the listing, but you will need to open a Google account (also free) to get started.
