Working with us is easy, simple, and comfortable. Because we are web-based, we make use of a variety of web and communication technologies such as email, instant messaging, and online project management to allow us to stay in touch with you reliably and safely.
We’re a small business, just like yourself, so we understand how important your time is and we appreciate the kinds of issues you face bringing your business online. Our understanding of how both small businesses and the web operate gives us a unique ability to serve you productively and efficiently.
We offer a variety of plans and bundled services to get you online, grow your business and reach your customers.
Once you sign up for the plan or product of your choice, we arrange payment with you (depending on the plan you’ve picked), and then work with you to make it all happen. This includes:
- learning more about you and your business
- understanding your vision
- outlining the approach we will take
- establishing an online login area so you can check work in progress
- keeping you posted as we accomplish each step along the way
For custom projects
If we are doing a large or custom website design or development project for you, we usually go through these additional steps:
- Estimate & Contract. Once we've agreed on a basic approach, we can provide you with an estimate of the cost to design your website. When we've found the right combination of design work for your budget, we'll draw up a contract to perform the work. A 50% deposit is usually required.
- Material Collection & Design. To get started on the actual design, we'll ask you to provide us with any brochures, products, logo, copy, text, photos or pictures, and other graphics that you've been using or want to use in your new website. We will explore the look and feel of the website and then, with your approval, work with content and linked pages. As we move along in the process, we'll continue to explore ideas and to provide honest, professional feedback. Your website will be posted at a non-public web location so you can view and test the work in progress.
- Completion & Debugging. In addition to yourself and others you choose to have review your site, our team will go through your site with a fine-tooth comb, test the site in different browsers, and make sure your site is accessible to as many visitors as possible.
- Final Payment & Site Launch. When the website has been tested, it's ready to be uploaded to the web. We ask for the balance on your contract, after which we upload your site for you. Your site is officially online, up, and running!
